Eventful First Quarter for Garfield Group Interactive
03/31/2008
An eventful first quarter for Garfield Group Interactive (GGI) saw an influx of new clients and an arrival of fresh faces.
As previously announced on December 11, 2007, Embarc, Inc. was acquired by The Garfield Group of Newtown, Pa, one of the leading branding and public relations agencies dedicated to technology and healthcare brands. As a result of this partnership, GGI has begun providing integrated services with the Garfield Group Branding (GGB) team on exciting website redesign and branding projects for clients such as Phoenix Data Systems, a leading provider of EDC services for clinical trials, and Satellier, innovator of the “workshare” model for the AECO industry, which recently received a $10 million investment from Sequoia Capital (early investors in companies like Apple Computer, Google, Oracle and Yahoo!).
In addition to these joint initiatives, GGI has recently added Noresco, Bentley, and Independent Security Evaluators to our growing list of new clients. Among these achievements the GGI team is also proud to announce the recent launch of the consumer education site for Phillips Lifeline’s, Learn Not To Fall http://www.learnnottofall.com/. This site is dedicated to providing seniors with resources and information that will help them reduce the risk of falling.
To supplement our growing team, GGI has recently hired two new employees. Mimi Gaber, Project Manager, has had 7 years of industry experience, and has recently relocated to the Boston area from New York City. Asma Palmeiro, Associate Web Producer, brings experience from the publishing industry, as a project manager and writer.
