Front-End Web Developer

Primary Function of this Position

The front end web developer is responsible for translating the Art Director's Photoshop files into functional web sites using HTML, CSS, and Javascript.

Essential Responsibilities

• Communicate well with the Designers so that each site design is fully realized
• Use HTML, CSS & Javascript to create and maintain functional websites
• Work with Technical Developers for dynamic pages, forms, and other more technical projects
• Create supporting artwork to complement existing site designs
• Help to define and adhere to GGI's production standards

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years designing and/or building commercial websites
• Expert level proficiency with: Javascript, HTML (hand coding, not WYSIWYG), CSS, Adobe Photoshop
• Helpful additional skills: AJAX, ASP, JSP, XML, XHTML, CVS, GREP, Flash, Dreamweaver, GoLive, any other software in the Adobe Creative Suite
• Attention to detail
• Graphic design experience helpful
• Strong oral and written communication skills
